So I've been doing this thing for a while where I use the colors inside a palette to make phrases. Has anyone else ever tried this? It's a lot of fun! :D

Here's an example of what I mean:
Mellow_Out
Hey
Man
Just
Calm
Down

Sweet_Nightfall
Not_as_safe
as_youd_think

Stress_Test
Falling
Down
The_Stairs

Alright, Lovers, show me what you've got!

Lots of lovers do this! I won't go through all of my palettes, but this one comes to mind.

Most of my palettes speak through colours. I even opened a forum about the way in which colours speak...

Sweet Nightfall and Stress Test do not belong to this type of palettes... Most of the colours' names are unrelated in meaning...

Awesome, everyone! :D

Never fear, mgm_303, no one in the thread stipulated that all five colors need to be part of the phrase or sentence. I don't want to be stifled and I certainly don't wish to stifle others' creativity. Sometimes the perfect color is already taken and you have to make do with what you have.

I have heard of wordlinks, Lizcrimson, but I've never really gotten around to investigating the group. Looks cool, and thanks for sharing!

Lol! I just said the colours on those palettes do not read like a sentence… you can’t deny that, can you?… real creativity has to do with making all the colours fit like a sentence in the palette… It’s just my point of view… And I see all the other colourlovers who made their contribution to this post agree with me since ALL their colours make perfect sentences… Nothing to do with stifling: lots to do with being clever to make them fit, just that…

I must admit that I cheat sometimes. I'll go to the Create New Color screen, enter the hex code for the perfect color that's already taken, then change it just a tiny bit -- add 1 to the last digit, say, enter the color name you want, and press "+Add". If that color's already taken, then I might add another 1 and try again ...
